Emails are nice:

Hi:

You have NO idea who I am (obviously) but I was given a link to your site by someone on alt.fishing. I was trying to track down a rod/reel combo that my dad had back in the 50’s.

Lo and behold, there it was, big as life (Great Lakes Whirlaway). Not only did you identify it for me, but with your links I was able to find one (actually 2) for sale on e-bay, and know that the price was in the ‘normal’ range.

Most ppl take the services that guys like you provide for granted, but I just wanted to let you know that it IS appreciated by some of us.

Again, thank you so much, and I hope to be back again many many times.

Notes

It's nice to be recognized now and then, and we've had some nice awards in since this site opened in January 2001.

We'd like to relive some of the good times with you on this page.
