J. A. Coxe
There are two facets to J. A. Coxe Reels. First was the wonderful hand
made big game reels manufactured by Coxe in his California workshop, and
second were those mass produced reels manufactured by Bronson Reel Co. of
Bronson, Michigan.
A third aspect of the history of J.A. Coxe reels is the misreading of the
logo used by Bronson on their reels. A Coxe collector today doesn't know
what possible spelling to search on eBay to find the Coxe reels he needs. To

Notes |
| The designer of this
company logo should be flogged. It is probably the most misspelled
company logo of all time. Jaleoxe seems to be the most common
misspelling of the J. A. Coxe reels. |
