This 28 page booklet tells the history of the first commercially successful automatic reel. It is full of the history and romance of the 1880s, when Francis A. Loomis invented the reel that started a revolution. The book features a full color cover and color photographs of the only known reel box, brass and hard rubber Loomis, Plumb & Company reels. It includes the original Loomis Patent from 1880 and a copy of the only known Loomis, Plumb & Company catalog from 1882.

This booklet is 28 pages long, soft covered, and 5.5 x 8.5 inches. Each book is signed and numbered. This booklet was published in 2004.
