How's this for a method of labeling your reel? The label
is a typewritten piece of paper placed between the headplate plastic
disks. |

This reel is almost all Plexiglas or plastic discs. |

Tailplate removed. The weighted inner disc rotates as
the handle is turned, and not until centrifugal force pushes the cork
lined pads again the spool does the spool rotate. |
